GRADING POLICY

WORLD HISTORY/ US GOVERNMENT/ ECONOMICS

CAYUGA HIGH SCHOOL

Grades will be divided into the following Categories:

1.)   DAILY GRADES (DG) = 15% of Six Weeks Grade.

-Homework

-Work done in Class

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE WORK

NO QUESTIONS ASKED

2.)  MAJOR GRADES (MG) = 35% of Six Weeks Grade.

-Quizzes

-Vocabulary

3.)  MAJOR EXAMS (ME) = 50% of Six Weeks Grade

-Consists of:

          -Essay

          -Fill in the Blank

          -Short Answer

ALL Quizzes and tests that you fail may be retaken during tutorials after school.  I will give you a date for the retake.  If you do not retake the failure within that time, the failing grade will stand.  Quizzes or Exams that are taken late will have a high grade of 70.

After you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to turn in your work within the required time.  You are responsible for your grade.
